Manila at night
The City of Manila is the capital of the Philippines. The metro Mnaila is made of 17 cities and municipalities and offers a nearly endless list of possibilities when it comes to things to do and see. Metro Manila is the Philippine’s economic, cultural, educational, and industrial center. Manila is a mix of the old and new buildings. Shopping and exciting night life is abundant here. There are small markets and boutiques to giant mega malls. In addition, there are countless, restaurants, café’s, bars, discos, Karaoke lounges and piano bars and to visit.

Just a few of the landmarks include the Manila Baywalk, Chinatown, Manila Cathedral, Rizal Park,the Walled City of Manila, Manila Ocean Park and Malacañang Palace, which is the official residence of the president of the Philippines.
Makati
Makati is one of the cities making up metro Manila and is home to many of the country’s five-star hotels like The Peninsula Manila, the Shangri-La Hotel Makati and the Intercontinental Hotel Manila. Makaiti is noted for its highly cosmopolitan culture and is home to many expats. The city has many first class shopping centers such as Ayala Center and Rockwell Center.
Philippine beach
If you want to get away from the hustle of the city for a break you have plenty of options within a couple of hours drive of Manila. If it’s beaches you looking for there are some great resorts near like, Caylabne in Cavite just over an hour from metro Manila and Nasugbu, Tali, San Juan and Calatagan in Batangas are all lined with beach resorts for people with different budgets.
Anilao
Scuba diving is available for those wanting to experience a spectacular dive. The seaside resorts near Anilao in Batangas offer some breathtaking dive spots. Sabang is another option for a short dive trip that does not require a plane, but offers great diving.
Manila being a large city requires you to take the normal precautions when traveling to avoid being taken advantage of. Metro Manila and the surrounding areas have so much to offer that it you would be hard pressed not to find something you would enjoy doing there.
